OUR MISSION

Abiding Faith Christian Fellowship Church, Inc. (AFCFC), Rochester, New York, is a Christian faith and worship ministry for the purpose of making disciples throughout the world; worshipping, serving, and fellowshipping with our Christian neighbors within the city of Rochester; and advancing the kingdom of God on earth.

This ecumenical church holds weekly worship services, offers a weekly community bible study, and provides member services, community programming and outreach for those needing food, clothing, and referrals to human service organizations.

 

OUR HISTORY

 

AFCFC Ministry began in 2011, as a weekly bible study in the home of its founding and Senior Pastor, Reverend Yulanda McKinney. As new members of the study group came seeking to establish or maintain a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through the study of the Holy Bible. "Seasoned" Christians, however, came seeking to strengthen their faith in the Lord through a theological breakdown of the Holy Scriptures, and to better understand and apply Christ's teachings within their particular faith traditions, personal relationships with the Savior, and the contemporary Christian church body.

 

The Lord blessed us richly, and the need for a larger space for bible study quickly presented, but also for a worship ministry that could serve those who were seeking this type of teaching and preaching on a regular basis. Spring 2013, walking completely by faith, the necessary legal process began to expand and incorporate this ministry. We prayerfully secured a location, and Abiding Faith Christian Fellowship Church, Inc. began Sunday worship services in the city of Rochester, New York on January 5, 2014.
